Voice

A receptionist that never sleeps
ElevenLabs voices, answering in Thai, English and German

The phone rings at 2am and the desk is closed. With ElevenLabs it gets answered — in the guest's language, from the policies you approved, with the note waiting for the morning shift.

The tool

What ElevenLabs actually is

ElevenLabs produces speech that does not sound synthetic, and the conversational agents built on top of it. In practice: a number your guests can call at any hour, a voice that sounds like a person, and answers that come only from material you have signed off. Not a phone tree — a conversation that can take a name, a time and a question.

The 2am call

Late arrival, lost key, airport transfer. The agent answers, confirms the policy you approved, and leaves the note where the desk will see it.

Three languages, one line

Thai, English and German without hiring three shifts. The tone and the limits are yours, not a call centre's.

Overflow at peak

When the desk is full and the phone keeps ringing, calls go to the agent instead of to voicemail.

What we do with it

Our part is the setup nobody wants to do

You hold the subscription. We do the wiring, the guardrails and the training — and then we get out of the way.

01

Design the conversation

The questions it asks, the ground it may not leave, the moment it hands over to a person. Written with your front-office team, not for them.

02

Feed it approved material

Policies, directions and FAQs taken from your own documents. It answers from those, and says so when it does not know.

03

Set the voice

A voice from the library, or a clone of one you hold the rights to, in the languages your guests actually speak.

04

Measure it

Every call transcribed and reviewed in the first weeks, so you see what it handled, what it missed, and what it should never have tried.

ElevenLabs questions, answered

We open the call by saying so. The voice is good enough that most people do not mind, and pretending otherwise damages trust the first time it is discovered.

It says it will pass the question on, takes a name and a number, and writes the summary into your pipeline. It never invents a rate or a policy.

It can check availability and hold a request where your booking engine allows it, but confirmation stays with your system or your team. We do not put a language model in charge of a price.

Yes, on the current speech models: Thai is one of the ninety-plus languages in the v4 family and the seventy-plus in v3. It is not in the older Multilingual v2 or Flash v2.5 models, so we choose the model per language rather than taking the default. Thai is also younger than English at ElevenLabs, so we run a native speaker through the voice, the script and a set of real calls before anything goes live — and we say no to a language when it does not clear that bar.

Thai, English and German most often in this region; ElevenLabs covers many more. Each language is reviewed separately before it goes live.
